March Against Rape in January

Make sure to join us this Saturday to protest against RAPE.

Did you know that our penal code in Lebanon:

1. Allows for charges to be dropped against a rapist if he marries the victim?

2. It is legal for your husband to rape you?

3. Rapists get only 6 months of jail time, but you live with the incident forever.

4. The police will give your number to the parents of your rapist? (They will either harass you or try to get you to marry the guy)

So make sure to be there on January 14. Think of it this way – if it was your sister/daughter/mother/wife, what would you do?
